Hello good people of SoundAwesome. Thanks to you and the great feel that
this website has I am really starting to get my act together with my bass playing, and above all believe in my ability. I have always known what it is that I wanted to achieve and set myself quite a challenge in trying to produce entertaining music using only bass guitars and the odd drum sample. Iv'e decided to worry far less about posting stuff and to just get those ideas out there for your ears, So watch this space and lets see what happens. I hope one day to do a solo set, So lots of work still to do. Eeek! I try to play a bass in a way that may just make the listener feel something as I did on hearing some bass work 2 years ago. I didn't believe you could create music with feeling using just a bass, So many thanks to Stu Hamm for the constant inspiration he gives me, and having met him twice, thanks to him for being such a thouroughly nice bloke. Also many thanks to Tombs who has been an endless source of positive feedback and encouragement, possibly my number one fan. (Possibly my only fan). Also many thanks to him for his skills in mastering my tunes for me. I give him a challenge as not only do I create music that needs to sound good at the low end but also at the high end with my use of harmonics. I also record all my work into a looper so by the time he gets his ears on it 4 layers of bass guitar and a drums will all be on one track. So many thanks Tombs (TombsTones Desktop Studio) for your skill in tweaking it all out for me. Also a thoroughly nice bloke. There are some great people and outstanding talent within the walls of SoundAwesome.Com. If your a listener you should join up a do some listening. If your a musician you should join up and play that thing, whatever thing it is you play. No one here will be critical of your work and lots of good advice is always availiable. So whether your producing music at the pc or just learning to play an instrument Don't be afraid to ask. It's good here. Thanks for reading and listening Basspodders |
